Larry David (Curb Your Enthusiasm) urinates on Jesus

I am glad that I've never seen this show.

Bill Donohue describes a recent episode of "Curb Your Enthusiasm":

At one point in the show, David goes to the bathroom in a Catholic home and splatters urine on a picture of Jesus; he doesn’t clean it off. Then a Catholic woman goes to the bathroom, sees the picture and concludes that Jesus is crying. She then summons her equally stupid mother and the two of them fall to their knees in prayer. When David and Jerry Seinfeld (playing himself) are asked if they ever experienced a miracle, David answers, “every erection is a miracle.” That’s what passes for creativity these days.

Never seen the show either (Thank God). All I can think of when I see things like this is how, 50 years ago men like these would be rebuked on the basis of manhood alone (i.e. urinating on anything would be considered unmanly and rude). Now, men like these are applauded and idolized. Pretty sad.

My question to you Dean is this: If you have never seen the show and obviously didn't see this particular skit...how can you comment on it at all?

Mr. Donohue's depiction of this scene is extremely accurate in ONE particular area...his phrasing of "equally stupid mother"...

Perhaps you should relax and enter the real world with comedy is comedy...back off on the paranoia, not everything is an attack on religion.
